I have almost all of Jillian''s workout DVD''s (sorry Jillian, can''t do yoga, I lose patience! LOL), and this is one of my favorites and among the most effective. It feels like it works every muscle in your body, and I can feel it everywhere the next day! It''s fun and the moves are not complex (with the exception of the push-ups on the kettlebell in level 2--my flimsy wrists couldn''t support that move so I just do straight pushups). This workout gets you in shape fast and flies by. I keep this in my constant Jillian rotation--highly recommend.

I wanted a workout with weights mainly for targeted strength training and I like Jillian’s workout style so I thought I’d try this. It’s good but not exactly what I wanted. The weight is more for resistance and increased cardio rather than targeted strength training. It was definitely hard and I have only tried the first workout. My legs were really sore the next day but not my arms so much. You’re basically just holding the weight for most of the routine. But it’s easy to modify and add more arm movement if you want. I’m going to keep doing it and give it a chance. I’m hoping I still gain some strength and lose a little weight.

This one definitely gets you the cardio you need, and will also help you achieve muscle definition. I find myself breathing heavy and sweating, so you know you are actually getting a real workout. I also like that there are 2 levels, and you can progress to more advanced within each level so i leaves room for you to grow and to keep using this DVD. I highly recommend if you want to mix up your workout routine and get in shape!

I ordered this DVD so that I could save $ on classes and was happy to find out that the workout (I''ve only done level 1) is 25 minutes long. Now that does include a warm up and cool down, but she gets the breathing going in this amount of time. So far I have been really happy and have started to see my arms, shoulders, and chest look stronger and firmer. My goal is to get into better shape and to feel and look stronger. I can''t do the squat jumps with the kettle bell that she has in the workout, but I just substitute it with a wall sit holding the kettle bell and find that this is helping me to still accomplish my goal.
I would recommend the work out to anyone who likes working with a kettle bell and wants to do their workout in the privacy of their own home.
